Mi vojaĝis al San-Francisko last-semajne por viziti amikon. Tie estis bona vetero, bonaj vendejoj, bonaj restoracioj, ktp.; ni havis bonan tempon. Dum promeno tra San-Franciska urbo, ni eniris artan galerion, kie ĉiu arta peco estis tre granda, eble sep futoj alte kaj longe! Tro malbone ke mi ne havan monon aĉeti iomon.

Tiame mi devas hejmen iri, mi surbusiĝis kaj survojis hejmen …. tamen mi suriĝis malĝustan buson! Do … post multaj aferoj, mi lasiĝis ĉe flanko de strato ekstere de Ukiah, Kalifornio (150 mejloj fore de mia hejmo) en tre malvarma nokto. Ĉe flanko, mi ekuzis mian telefonon, sed tiumomente ĝi mortis!  Ne bonis.  Mi akiris rajdon en urbon fare de homo kiu estis sur buso.  Li lasis min ĉe hambugera manĝejo Bebops … Ugg.  Tie, per kafo kaj dancantaj kelneroj, mi restis dum multaj horoj ĝis mia rajdo sakramenta alvenis por mi.

Antaŭ kelkaj tagoj, mi enuis kaj volis fari ion. Mi tiame havis ideon iri al kinejo. Pro tiu penso, mi sendis inviton al Kojpo, kiu jesis al mia invito.

Poste ĉe kinejo, atendante ekon de filmo, li diris al mi: “Vi scias…tiame vi sendis mesaĝon al mi pri filmo, nura afero, kiun mi povas pripensi, estis krevmaizo!”

“Krevmaizon, heh? Bonas ke mi aĉetis iomon tiale.”

Per mano en krevmaizujo, li diris: “Bonvole ne doni troan al mi tamene. Mi ne volas malsaniĝi…”
